Westonka Preschool

Westonka Preschool is a school readiness program, emphasizing activities in all areas of growth and learning. In preschool, children learn about their world through play, learn key social skills and experience success and gain skills needed for kindergarten and for life. Field trips are scheduled twice a year and a healthy, daily snack is provided. The program includes a diverse grouping of children reflective of the community and inclusive with special education.

Three Year Old Classes:  If your child is 3 years old on or by September 1, 2026,  fully potty trained and able to use the toilet independently, you may enroll in a preschool class at Early Learning Center. At this time, our morning three year old classes are at a wait list status. 

Four and Five Year Old Classes: If your child is between the ages of 4 and 5 on or by September 1, 2026, fully potty trained and able to use the toilet independently, your child can attend any of the classes at the Early Learning Center or at Early Learning Site at Shirley Hills Primary School. At this time, all of our classes at Shirley Hills Primary School are at a wait list status. 

Full Day Preschool Class:  If you child is at least 4.5+ years of age on or by September 1, 2026, you can register to attend the Full Day Preschool Class.  At this time this class is no longer available online due to the class being full and at a wait list status.
