Westonka Hockey Rookie Camp

Rookie Camp is designed for kids who have not previously played association hockey and is open to all ages. Each 40 minute session includes an introduction to hockey, basic skating instruction, skill development, and fun games to keep participants engaged. While completing a Learn to Skate program or having prior skating experience is recommended, it is not required to join. Protective equipment is available for use during the camp, and if the child continues with Westonka Youth Hockey, the equipment may be rented for a small fee for the rest of the season. Skaters are required to bring their own skates, undergarments, and mouthguard. Each participant will receive a shirt, jersey, socks, and stick, and will be invited to a celebratory pizza party following the final session.
