Beginning Woodcarving: Spring Tulips

Ages 13 - Adult (ages 12 and under allowed with registered adult)

Instructor: Matt Bruch

Join woodcarver Matt Bruch to carve a spring tulip which is sure to brighten any window sill in your home! Learn carving, painting, and finishing techniques, plus knife grips and tool maintenance. Bring your own carving knife and safety glove. Materials (wood blanks, glue, paint, brushes, and wax) will be provided. Additional blanks will be available for cash purchase in class. Tool rental is available for $15 cash, paid to the instructor in class. Students should bring the following:

1. Sharp carving knife (Flexcut KN14 or similar)

2. Cut-resistant carving glove (NoCry CutGuard Pro or similar)
