NEW Young Authors Workshop

Grades 5 - 8

Instructor: Kathleen West, Professional novelist and teacher

Do you love monsters, wizards, sports, or history? Learn how to write your own stories! In this fun and supportive creative writing class, middle school students will create characters, build exciting plots, and learn how real authors turn ideas into stories. We’ll start with short pieces and work toward planning longer stories and novels. This class builds confidence, creativity, and a love of writing. Please bring along a nut-free snack, water bottle, notebook, and a writing utensil.
