Fall Session | Westonka Community Education Youth Basketball (Ages 3-8)

Westonka White Hawks Community Ed Youth Basketball is designed to introduce your student to the basics of basketball. Athletes will be placed on teams based on their age groups and White Hawks t-shirts are included! Each session will focus on skill development with some sessions including 3 vs 3 an 4 vs 4 scrimmages. We will use four-foot high mini backboards/hoops for the younger player (three to four year olds) and lower the backboards for the five to eight year old players.

Since this is an introduction to basketball, we want to stress fun and skill development, not competition. Our coaches will be there each week to help your athlete along the way. Basketballs will be provided, but you are more than welcome to bring your own. Play with your Westonka friends and begin your journey as a White Hawk!

Please Note: Meetings times listed may need to be adjusted if registration numbers dictate additional gym space. Any changes in the session times will be communicated prior to the start of the season.
