Experience the joy of skating at one of the best ice rinks in Minnesota! Make memories with your friends as you begin the tradition of lacing up your skates at Thaler Sports Center. Participants are required to bring a helmet (bike or hockey) and must provide own skates.

Ice Skating Program Overview
The Snowplow Sam program teaches skating fundamentals to children ages 3 to 5. It develops agility, balance and coordination. Skaters must wear skates, helmet and mittens or gloves. Snow pants are recommended.
When registering, you are signing up for a time slot and students will be placed in their appropriate level.

Snowplow Sam  1  (Ages 3-5) For beginners needing assistance. Skaters learn to stand, fall safely and march.
Snowplow Sam  2  (Ages 3-5) For those who can march. Skaters learn gliding, dips and stopping.
Snowplow Sam  3  (Ages 3-5) For those who can stop and swizzle (tracing an oval shape on ice moving feet apart and together) Skaters learn backward swizzles and one foot glides.
