    Beginner Band Camp Entering Grade 5 Instructor, Gretchen Chilson, Chris Moore and local professional musicians This camp is designed for students who are new to a band instrument. In large ensembles and through small group instruction, students will learn how to put the instrument together, how to care for the instrument, how to make great first sounds, and how to prepare musical selections. This camp is strongly recommended for beginning students. Students who cannot attend should plan to sign up for Jump Start Lessons or take private lessons on their instrument.     Babysitter Safety Training Ages 11 and older Instructor Shelly Nahan, RN, BSN, PHN, Health & Safety Specialist Boys and girls ages 11 and up learn skill training and information that is necessary in caring for infants and children in this American Health & Safety Institute accredited program. This program will teach the importance of responsibility, recognizing an emergency, emergency action steps, personal safety, fire and water safety, infant/child basic care, and also responding to an unconscious victim, CPR, choking management and basic First Aid. Upon successful completion, participants will earn the American Health & Safety Institute Child and Babysitting safety certification card.
