Westonka Aquatics | Private Learn to Swim LessonsLearn-to-Swim LessonsWaitlistPrivate Learn to Swim Lessons Private and semi-private swim lessons are beneficial for swimmers requiring special attention or focused work. The Westonka Aquatics team works with the individual to determine the goals of the swimmer, and develops a learn-to-swim plan around the wants and needs of the swimmer. Semi-private lessons are available and require the inquiring family to provide a participant who is at the same approximate skill level as the other swimmer(s). Private and semi-private lessons are available on a first come, first-serve basis, determined by application dates. Due to limited space and availability, we will not be able to honor all private or semi-private lesson requests, but will keep a running waiting list and contact you as a spot becomes available. Private and semi-private lesson dates and times are scheduled on pool available, but all 4 lessons will be scheduled prior to the first lesson starting, and payment for the lessons must be received prior to the first lesson. Once lessons are scheduled, they may only be rescheduled due to an emergency. Lessons rescheduled or canceled without a 24-hour notice will count as a lesson taught. Coaches will teach fundamentals to beginners and advanced skills to experienced bowlers. Practices are held Wednesdays from 4:30 - 6:30 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 - 10:30 am at Country Club Lanes in Tonka Bay. Matches begin in September and run through early December on Wednesdays and Fridays at 3:50 pm in Tonka Bay, Shakopee or Belle Plaine. In preschool, children learn about their world through play, learn key social skills and experience success and gain skills needed for kindergarten and for life. Field trips are scheduled twice a year and a healthy, daily snack is provided. The program includes a diverse grouping of children reflective of the community and inclusive with special education. Three Year Old Classes: If your child is 3 years old on or by September 1, 2026, fully potty trained and able to use the toilet independently, you may enroll in a preschool class at Early Learning Center. At this time, our morning three year old classes are at a wait list status. Westonka Youth Football | Flag Football League (Grades 3 & 4)FootballWestonka Youth Football | Flag Football League Grades 3 & 4 The Westonka Youth Football program provides a great opportunity for kids to participate in organized skills development, flag football, and tackle football. In Grades 3 & 4, the Westonka Youth Football program forms flag football teams and participates in an In-House League. Grades 3 & 4 Flag Football Practices will begin on Tuesday, August 25 at 6:00 pm. Parents should plan to attend the first practice to meet with coaches and teammates. Practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and games will be held on Saturday mornings. All practices and games will take place at LOCATION TO BE DETERMINED. Flag Football participants will receive a Westonka Football league/team t-shirt that they are able to keep at the conclusion of the season. The season will conclude on Saturday, October 10. A complete season schedule will be sent out prior to the start of the season. Flag Football League participants will receive a Westonka Youth Football league/team t-shirt that they are able to keep at the end of the season.
