Theater | Broadway Bootcamp: Dance for the Stage (Entering Grades 5-12)TheaterBroadway Bootcamp: Dance for the Stage Entering Grades 5 - 12 Instructors, Jamie Harms, Middle & High School Director/Choreographer assisted by Cerisa Bray, Middle School Theatre Assistant Student Choreographer Explore the exciting world of musical theatre through dance! This class introduces students to fundamental dance styles and techniques that bring Broadway to life. Perfect for beginners or those looking to refine their skills, participants will learn choreography inspired by classic and contemporary musical while building confidence, coordination and stage presence. This year's program features all new material and choreography, so even return students will have a fresh and exciting experience! Students should bring a water bottle to each session. Join us for TonkaBots' annual Summer Camp Monday - Friday, August 3 - 7 at Westonka Middle School. Students will work with challenging yet fun robotics kits, learn how to design, program, and build robots hands-on and interactively, receive one-on-one guidance, work collaboratively in groups, and use their robots to tackle a series of obstacle courses, games, and challenges! Students will be immersed in the high school FRC robotics experience by using their robots to tackle a series of real-world obstacle courses, games and challenges that are based on official worldwide FRC Competitions in which the high school team participates! Let your child learn valuable technical and team working skills from world class state champ robotics students in a low pressure, fun environment! Drop off and pick up are at Westonka Middle School main entrance. New this year, students get to take the robots they build home at the end of camp!
