The Westonka football passing academy is a non-contact three-day football camp for Grades 5-12 dedicated exclusively to the specialist position - QB, RB, WR and TE. The academy will help player fully realize their potential on and off the football field. Whether you're a QB, RB, WR or TE the Westonka football passing academy will help you grasp the fundamentals of your position and basic offensive a d defensive strategies to improve, learn and grow as student-athletes and football players. The academy will focus on the following components:

• Quarterbacks: 3 & 5 step drops (shotgun/under center), progression and hot throws, footwork, throwing drills
• Running backs/Wide Receivers/Tight Ends: stances, & starts, ball catching technique and drills, route running, releases

Participants will be grouped by age, position, ability and experience to allow coaches to progressively teach basic and advanced techniques to best benefit each group. All participants will receive a camp t-shirt

Equipment needed: t-shirt, shorts, cleats or tennis shoes
